Romanian IT R&D Institute and Greek Industrial Systems Institute to take part in SEE Annual Conference 2013

Representatives of Romanian National Institute for Research and Development in Informatics (ICI) and the Greek Industrial Systems Institute/RC Athena (ISI) will take part in the SEE Annual Conference 2013, which is to be held on June 19 in Bucharest, Romania under the title “SEE achievements in view of the new programmes in the area”.
The registration for the event, which is organized by the South East Europe (SEE) Programme, is now open.

The conference aims to be the key territorial cooperation event in 2013 in the SEE region. It will mainly be divided into two parts. The first one will focus on the future of the European Territorial Cooperation in the area, including updated data on the two new programmes in the SEE – Danube and South East Gateway. The second part will explain the Thematic Capitalisation Strategy of the programme and the achievements gained by both the programme and the projects so far. In the last session, some time will be allocated to form working groups of the projects which are open to participate wtihin the Thematic Capitalisation Strategy.

The conference will bring together up to 400 participants, including practitioners, representatives of the European Commission, European Parliament, government officials and experts from the SEE countries, representatives of international organizations and academia, and potential project developers.
