SEE Annual Conference 2013 was held on June 19, 2013

On June 19 in Bucharest, Romania, took place the SEE Annual Conference 2013 under the title “SEE achievements in view of the new programmes in the area”.
Representatives from two FORSEE project partner organizations - National Institute for Research and Development in Informatics (ICI), Romania, and Industrial Systems Institute/RC Athena (ISI), Greece, took part in the event.
This year the conference was focused on the linkage between the present and future of territorial cooperation in the South East Europe area. By presenting the achievements gained by the SEE programme and projects during the past years they had to be considered by the SEE projects and the decision-makers when preparing the two new programmes in the area (Danube and South East Gateway). During the conference the SEE Thematic Capitalisation Strategy of the SEE Programme was promoted, considering its aims at increasing the impact of the projects' achievements through the identification of synergies between projects working on the same topic.
